I headed out to take some bike race photos on Sunday. The Great Valley Crit utilizes a local business park and is the same course as the local training race and is very close to where I live, so I thought it might be fun to go out and grab some shots. I thought about using the Sony a6000 and my new-to-me 18-200 LE lens to test out that setup, but instead decided to use the Sonya99 with the Tamron 150-600 and Tamron 70-200. I've had the 70-200 f/2.8 for a few month now and really haven't used it that much, so I thought it might be fun to test it out.
I put a few of my favorites from the day below. If you were at the race and wondering about other shots, let me know. I only caught the last lap of the citizens race and then shot the 55+ and the 4/5 races but I did get plenty of other images.
